ONCE IN A BLUE MOON
The “Once In a Blue Moon” brief was set by Pearlfisher agency. 

This project focuses on creating a premium watch brand inspired by the rare Aigul flower from Kyrgyzstan. The brand highlights rarity and exclusivity, targeting affluent women aged 25-34. 
The design combines traditional craftsmanship with digital panels, where petals and numbers gradually appear each year, representing the passage of time. After seven years, the full flower blooms, revealing a new design. Exclusive animations and patterns are shown briefly each April, coinciding with the flower’s rare blooming period under the full moon.
The name “Gibbous” comes from the Latin word “gibbous”, referring to the phase of the moon just before it becomes full, symbolizing the flower’s rare bloom.
